How it works

 

 

Step 1: Book an Art/shuttle

 

The fastest way to book an Art Shuttle is to email your requirements to leanne@gallerysupportgroup.com and supply the following:

 

  • Pick-up Location
  • Drop-of Location
  • Contact details (both sides)
  • Special instructions for access if required
  • How many pieces, size of the biggest piece
  • When do you want us to collect
  • Do you need insurance (Please allow 24 hours notice. See Terms & Conditions for details)

 

We will then:

 

  • Give you the costs and take payment details
  • Schedule Collection and delivery
  • Advise on any additional time taken at collection or delivery if over 15 minutes. (Please note that 15 minutes is allowed for collection and again for delivery. Thereafter each minute is charged at £1.00 per minute plus VAT).

 

 

 

Step 2: Prepare your Art For Transport

 

Art Shuttles do not normally offer a wrapping/packing service. Please ask for our Full Service option if you require this.  Artworks should be wrapped and ready by the door to be collected. Insured artworks will require an ArtiCheck inspection upon collection so additional time will be required for the works to be unwrapped and checked.

 

 

Step 3: Collection

 

You will be provided a two-man art handling team plus 3.5 ton box vehicle. Our handlers may photograph artworks upon collection or may use ArtiCheck in certain circumstances. If ArtiCheck has not been pre-organised it will be subject to a £25.00 fee + VAT for up to 5 artworks and you can be issued your report at the end of the transport. Please note that additional time taken for loading offloading over and above your free fifteen minutes will be subject to a £1.00 + VAT fee per minute. We suggest that all items are ready and prepared in advance to avoid additional time taken upon collection.

 

 

Step 4: Delivery

 

Delivery (within London) is normally the same day unless requested otherwise.  All parties are informed upon collection and delivery if requested.  Next day deliveries can be organised if pre-arranged. However, artworks which are taken to our art-dedicated warehouse due to a non-delivery (recipient not available) may be subject to handling-in/out fees of £15.00 + VAT per handle if this has not been arranged in advance. The Art Shuttle service does not insure artworks held at  Gallery Support Group facilities unless requested and agreed in advance in writing.  A full Facilities Report is available upon request and can be submitted to your own insurer upon request.
